Authors who publish articles in the International Journal Universal Pedagogy Education (IJUPE) agree to the following terms:

  • The copyright of each article remains with the author, while the journal is granted the right of first publication. These articles are simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows others to copy, share, adapt, or build upon the work as long as proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal as the place of first publication.
  • Authors are permitted to enter into additional non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the article (e.g., depositing it in institutional repositories or including it in a book), provided that the original publication in IJUPE is properly acknowledged.
  • Authors are also encouraged to disseminate their article online (e.g., via personal websites, academic repositories, or scholarly platforms) both before and during the submission process to foster academic discussion and increase citation potential.

Publication License

All content published in IJUPE is protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws. The journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) as its publishing framework. This license permits the distribution, reuse, and modification of scholarly work — including for commercial purposes — provided that appropriate credit is given.

This license requires users to:

  • Attribute the original author(s) and the International Journal Universal Pedagogy Education
  • Include a link to the license: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
  • Indicate if changes were made
  • Distribute derivative works under the same license (ShareAlike)

Author Statement

By submitting a manuscript to IJUPE, authors affirm that:

  • The work is original and authored by the listed contributors
  • The manuscript has not been previously published, and is not under review elsewhere
  • The work does not contain unlawful content or violate the rights of any third party
  • Any copyrighted material from other sources has been properly cited, and permission has been obtained if necessary

User Rights

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, both authors and users are granted the rights to:

  • Copy, share, and distribute the article
  • Adapt or modify the article for any purpose, including commercial use
  • Provided that proper attribution is given and derivative works are shared under the same license

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  • Full ownership of the article's copyright
  • The right to reuse the article in derivative works such as lectures, books, or future research
  • The right to reproduce the article for personal or educational use, as long as it is not for commercial sale
  • The right to self-archive the article in institutional or other repositories

Collaborative Works

If the article is a collaborative work, the corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have agreed to the terms of this statement and have authorized the corresponding author to act on their behalf.

Termination Clause

This agreement may be terminated by either the author or IJUPE with two months' notice, in the event of a material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of notice. Termination does not automatically revoke the granted license unless explicitly stated.

Royalties and Compensation

No royalties or financial compensation will be paid to authors for the use of the article by IJUPE or its licensees. By agreeing to this policy, authors waive their right to claim such compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

Final Provisions

IJUPE reserves the right to make minor editorial changes (e.g., spelling, grammar, formatting) to ensure consistency with journal standards. Once an article passes peer review and editorial processing, it will be published openly at no cost to the author. The journal also retains the right to relicense the content under the same licensing terms.
