Abstract

SMKS Pesantren Alam Indonesia is a pesantren-based school that combines agricultural vocational education with religious values. Despite having great agricultural potential, the irrigation system used is still manual and traditional, making it less efficient in the use of air and labor. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to apply 3D printing technology (3D printer) as a tool in designing and producing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based crop irrigation controller system. The implementation method includes observing needs in the field, designing devices with CAD software, printing components using a 3D printer, and installing and training teachers and students to use it. The results of this program show that the use of 3D printers can reduce the production costs of controllers and allow for customization according to local needs. In addition, this activity increases students' understanding of the concept of IoT in agriculture and provides hands-on experience in the use of digital manufacturing technology. The practical implications of this activity include increasing irrigation efficiency and optimizing practice-based learning. Socially, this program strengthens the school's capacity to develop appropriate technology and empower students as potential agricultural innovators. The originality value program lies in the integration of IoT and 3D printing technology in the context of Islamic boarding school-based vocational high schools.
